Why is one room always hotter or colder than the rest?
Uneven temperatures in a ducted home are usually a duct problem. Ducts in the roof space can be crushed, kinked, disconnected at a joint, torn by pests or simply too small for the room they serve. Every leak sends heated or cooled air into the roof instead of the room.
Northridge HVAC inspects the duct run from the unit to each outlet, measures airflow at every vent, then repairs, reroutes or replaces sections and rebalances the system. Old ducts with poor insulation can be replaced with modern insulated ducting.

How do I protect my ductwork?
Tell anyone working in the roof space, such as electricians or insulation installers, where the ducts run so they are not stepped on or crushed. Keep the return air filter clean so dust does not build up inside the ducts.
